Pilsen Murals Walking Tour
Walk through Pilsen with a local guide and get the larger meaning behind the artwork in Chicago’s capital of Mexican cultures. Formed in collaboration with Pilsen Public Art Tours, the tour weaves neighborhood history with vibrant large-scale murals and lived personal experience.

Cycle back to 1893 with Greg Borzo, author of Where to Bike Chicago. Pedal past sites related to the world’s fair and discover its lasting influence on Chicago. Uncover Daniel Burnham’s grand plans and the devilish doings of H. H. Holmes. Tour includes 20 miles of biking and ends at Midway Plaisance Park in Hyde Park.
With millions of items in our care, we can show only a small percentage at a time, but members get the chance to go behind the scenes and see artifacts not on view to the public.
