A Legacy Through Film: Executive Order 9066

Join us for a screening of two films from the Chicago-based Full Spectrum Features on Japanese American incarceration during World War II. Each uses a personal story to dramatize a different period of this history starting with the signing of Executive Order 9066, which authorized the relocation, to its present-day legacy for younger generations. A lively panel discussion follows the screening. This program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Race: Are We So Different? Light snacks included; cash bar available.
